The Story Behind Kiin
I’m not driven by trends, but by things that make everyday life feel more authentic to who I truly am. Despite living in the fast-paced city of New York, I’ve created a space and lifestyle for myself and my family that brings a sense of calm to the noise of everyday life.
Kiin began in 2022 with a simple idea: your home should support the lifestyle you want to live by.
Inspired by the word 'kinship', Kiin is a platform for like-minded individuals who aspire to slow down & embrace a more beautiful, elevated way of living.
Over time, I’ve come to believe that less is more. Empty space is the new luxury, an occasional empty calendar is something I value. When you lighten things up—visually and energetically—you make room for what matters: living well.
Everything is energy, including our homes. A space isn’t just something you see; it’s something you feel. When the energy is aligned, life softens. That belief is what led me to create Kiin Interiors — to design homes that welcome, restore, and reflect a life beautifully lived.
Life is experienced in phases, and change is inevitable. Our approach is rooted in designing spaces that evolve with you and who you are becoming. Light, texture, and detail come together to create homes that feel warm, grounded, and deeply personal.

Carolyn Siden
Founder & Lead Designer
Carolyn is the visionary behind Kiin Home. Her experiences in the fashion and design industries for over 20+ years coupled with her passion for merchandising luxurious textiles, organically has parlayed into creating Kiin Home. Completing her studies at The Fashion Institute of Technology and then furthering her education in interior design and staging in L.A. has provided an incredible platform for her career. Carolyn has created a laid-back approach designing a place of comfort and beauty while understanding the importance of energy flow.
Sarah Bernstein
Assistant Interior Designer & Marketing Lead
Sarah is a Design Assistant at Kiin Home with a strong foundation in interior design and complementary expertise in digital marketing. She earned her degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology and is furthering her education in Interior Design at The New School. At Kiin Home, Sarah supports the design team while shaping the brand’s e-commerce presence through thoughtful marketing and merchandising, helping position Kiin Home as a leader in the luxury home space.
