Just like all our other products, the sheepskin used to create this beanbag is a byproduct of the meat production in New Zealand. This means that a leftover that would otherwise be discarded is used to create this wonderful product. But what is premium sheepskin? The difference between premium and "regular" quality sheepskin lies in the thickness of the coat, the natural shine and softness of the wool and the durability. Less than 5 % of all New Zealand sheepskins are premium quality and this high quality is maintained and improved through a careful tanning process.
The beanbag is made from sheared short wool sheepskin from New Zealand that has been smoothed out in order to create a product with a softness that is beyond compare. The hairs' softness can easily be maintained by brushing the beanbag every once in a while.
The beanbag is available in 2 different sizes. Most colours are achieved by colouring the sheepskin, but the white variant is natural in colour. That means that the sheepskin does not look snow white, as it will always throw some shade onto the hairs, but this natural play of colours only makes the beanbag more beautiful and natural looking. The white colour can easily be combined with different styles and is surprisingly easy to maintain. Stains can be removed with a wet cloth and dried stains can be brushed out with a sheepskin brush.
